David Cano Martínez

He has a degree in Business Management and Administration from the Education University and a student of the Degree in Sociology from the Spanish University of Distance Education (UNED).

Partner of Afi (since 2003) and General Director of Afi Global Investments, SGIIC. Winner of the “Best Manager of a Spanish Boutique Management Company 2026" award and finalist in 2025.

Co-author of a dozen books on financial markets and economics (the most recent, Foundations of Financial Economics, 2024, Almuzara publishing house) and more than a hundred articles on macroeconomics, portfolio management, financial assets, investment funds, derivatives, monetary policy and corporate finance.

Patron of the Afi Emilio Ontiveros Foundation and member of the Academic Council of Afi Global Education. Member of the Advisory Board of TM Real Estate Group, Antolín and Fundatia (Unicaja Banking Foundation Group).
